A' Design Award and Competitions are happy to inform that the work Caesar Park Hotels and Resorts Brand Identity by Marcelo Lopes has been awarded with the famous Silver A' Design Award at Graphics and Visual Communication Design Competition.

The main goal of this new project was to save resources. Results include: fifty percent reduction in the number of items in the visual identity manual, less paper consumption, creation of the new index structure of the visual identity manual facilitating the search for the items, improved durability of the materials. Thus, the sustainable design was achieved by replacing some plastic or TNT materials with 100% cotton fabric. All paper types specified in the new project are FSC certified papers.

The Silver A' Design Award
The Silver A' Design Award is a prestigious award given to top 5% percentile designs that has carried out an exemplary level of sublimity in design. The designs are judged by a panel of three different jury which is composed of Academic, Professional and Focus Group Members. The designs are evaluated with score normalization to remove any biases and are voted on aspects such as functionality, ergonomics, engineering, presentation, innovation, usability, fun details, technology, and any other specific points that could be considered, each of these points are further weighted for different jury groups.
