Travizon Inc., a leading provider of corporate travel, technology and meeting services, today announced its breakthrough itinerary system, Global Insight Itineraries. GI Itineraries is a state-of-the-art platform, designed to meet the needs of today’s corporate travelers. GI Itineraries will launch on December 16, 2013, in the US and Canada.

Travizon developed the advanced system to replace Sabre’s Virtually There® offering, which is being phased out among Travizon clients. Rather than migrate to Sabre’s proposed white-label product, Travizon opted to develop this proprietary tool. Travizon clients will continue to benefit from ad-free itineraries and a platform that’s designed to offer future enhancements.

“We are excited to debut our GI Itinerary system,” states Lehi Mills, Travizon’s Chief Technology Officer. “By developing the itinerary system in house, we feel we can deliver a better end user experience. We can eliminate distracting messaging, merchandising and improve the content that’s presented to our travelers.”

Among its many features, GI Itineraries gives travelers and travel managers the ability to view trips on their PDAs or other hand-held devices, as well as online. After a reservation is completed, an automatic email itinerary will be sent to the traveler and/or travel arranger. In addition, travel arrangers will enjoy increased visibility and functional options, which are not currently available.

“Overall, Travizon’s proprietary technology has streamlined corporate travel programs and lowered the cost of business for both our clients and ourselves,” explained Matt Cummings, CFO and COO of Travizon and Chairman of GlobalStar. “The benefits and features of Travizon systems are always client-centric. GI Itineraries will certainly follow suit, providing a best-in-class itinerary solution.”
