Tim Luttrell spent a decade in sales at major motorcycle dealerships. Now, he’s the new owner of Pro Car Auto Body, which specializes in minor collision repair (bumpers, fenders, dents and scratches) along with detailing. “Working for other dealers as a sales manager I realized I knew what it takes to build a business and wanted to use my skills in customer service to grow my own,” said Luttrell.
After so many years working for someone else, he made the decision to be his own boss, and purchased the Pro Car shop, which has been in business since 2000. With the assistance of Guidant Financial, he was able to use his retirement account to purchase the business. Rollovers as Business Startups (ROBS) can be complicated, but Luttrell says Guidant “made each step very easy.”
Running at full steam with three employees, Tim Luttrell prides himself on hard work, affordable prices, and a quick turn-around. “I love when customers come to pick up their car and see what we have done to fix their problem. They can’t believe we have repaired the car and saved them money!”
