Today, a representative of Glasheen, Valles, & Inderman, LLP - a personal injury law firm with offices in Texas and New Mexico - announced that the firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the family of Clade Klink.

The lawsuit, Cause 101931-C, was filed in Potter County, Texas and provides the following details:

"The afternoon of November 4, 2013 Cade Klink fell down an open and unprotected elevator shaft at 1015 S. Polk Street in Amarillo, Texas. He suffered life-threatening injuries which ultimately resulted in his death.

The elevator at the building did not properly lock to prevent opening directly to the elevator shaft. Although substantial renovations had been done on the building, the elevator was not brought up to code. It is believed the elevator had not been inspected as required by Texas law and could not pass the minimum safety requirements."

Chad Inderman of Glasheen Valles & Inderman is the attorney for the family of Cade Klink. Mr. Inderman stated: “We filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Klink family. This will allow us to get questions answered timely and under oath as well as preserve all documentary/physical evidence.”
