BetVictor chooses Callcredit for Age Verification

BetVictor recognise that the prevention of underage betting and identity fraud remains a significant concern in the online gaming sector and wanted to be in a position where it could increase the number of pass rates, without inconveniencing genuine customers.

Callcredit have provided BetVictor with their real-time online identity check tool, CallValidate, as a solution to their requirements. The tool instantly identifies under-age sign ups and high risk players, by verifying customers' names, addresses and dates of birth from a wide range of independent sources. In addition it prevents identity payment and fraud impersonation by conducting a real-time check against bank and credit card providers' records.

Since using the software, BetVictor have seen an increase in the volume of pass rates, with now in excess of 80% of players successfully passing the automatic checks.
