The Rhode Island technology services company partners with United Way of Rhode Island and Westbay Community Action to give back to the community.

We want to do our part to give back to families in the communities which have helped our organization grow, especially during the holiday season, when they may need it most.

Brave River Solutions (BRS) has partnered with two Rhode Island organizations to support the local community during this holiday season. The Warwick-based IT and web services company is running their annual employee donation campaign to support the United Way of Rhode Island and is participating in the Adopt-a-Family program from Westbay Community Action.

This year marks the second time that BRS has sponsored a local family through the Westbay Community Action program, which pairs local families in need with area businesses who have offered to help fulfill the family’s holiday wish list. Brave River’s employees will work together to provide a family of five with gifts ranging from toys to clothes to grocery gift cards in order to help them have a happy and healthy holiday.

“Each year, many local families reach out for assistance after falling on financial hardship,” said Jim McAssey, Vice President of Brave River. “We want to do our part to give back to families in the communities which have helped our organization grow, especially during the holiday season, when they may need it most.”

Brave River has successfully partnered with United Way of Rhode Island many times throughout the company’s history. The United Way of Rhode Island (UWRI) works to help change lives across the state with a number of community impact initiatives. UWRI works with schools, government agencies, businesses, organized labor, financial institutions, community development corporations, voluntary and neighborhood associations, and the faith community to help Rhode Islanders in need.

Brave River Solutions has been involved with community initiatives since it’s inception in 2000, striving to take an active role in the local Rhode Island community.
