For the past fifteen years, Eye of the Day Garden Design Center has discounted every item during its Getting Ready for Spring Sale in an effort to help customers prepare for spring in the garden as well as to make way for new merchandise arriving at the store. Eye of the Day stocks the largest selection of Italian terra cotta on the west coast in a large variety of shapes and sizes.

Additionally,Anduze pottery from the south of France, American concrete containers, fountains, benches, statuary and birdbaths, new and old Greek pottery and antique garden vessels from Italy, France and Spain are available at Eye of the Day.

The tradition of the annual “Getting Ready for Spring” sale began when Eye of the Day was relocated to Carpinteria in 1998 after the original location in the Santa Ynez Valley was destroyed in a flood. In order to create enough space for the unique “high-end” merchandise that has become synonymous with Eye of the Day, it was important to move the old stock left behind by the previous owners. The sale was such a success that the concept of the yearly “cleaning out” was born and has allowed Eye of the Day to prepare for the upcoming new merchandise and designs.
