In addition to his restaurants, Chef Feker acts as an ambassador to the culinary arts at his state-of-the-art Culinary Studio/Chef’s Counter, CMFs School of Culinary Magic, located in Milwaukee’s western suburb of Wauwatosa.

Chef Michael Feker’s passion for fine cuisine mixed with unique flavors gives him an indescribable talent and desire to share and teach others about cooking. His new restaurant, IL MITO East, is the most recent accomplishment for Chef Feker, who introduced his famous IL MITO brand to Milwaukee in 1997. IL MITO East is set to open in February 2013 and will be located at 1028 E Juneau Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Feker's Italian/Mediterranean-inspired menu will be served seven days per week, will feature full gluten-free dining options as well as an internationally-infused brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

In 1997, Chef Feker brought the IL MITO brand to the Milwaukee dining scene. Then, in 2006 he opened a second location in Milwaukee’s growing suburb of Wauwatosa, and in early 2008, he opened CMFs School of Culinary Magic adjacent to Wauwatosa’s IL MITO. Now 2013 brings the opening of IL MITO East, along with a plethora of outlets for his passion for life and food, including culinary consulting for organizations such as Aurora Health Care (where Feker’s cooking videos are shown on their in-house TV network for patients to view); Stillwaters Cancer Center (culinary director and fundraiser for research in cancer, and services to support patients with living with cancer); The Boelter Super Store (an exclusive retail source for cooking products designed for chefs); Milwaukee’s Hunger Task Force (donating culinary performances to help feed the hungry); The International Houseware Show (cooking demonstrations, 2011 and 2012); Wisconsin Wine and Dine (culinary performer and celebrity judge); Home Builders Expo (culinary presenter and design consultant) Growing Power and Alice’s Garden (sourcing food locally and helping others get access to fresh, pure and healthy ingredients).

In addition to his restaurants, chef's counter and culinary performances, Chef Feker appears live on Milwaukee's FOX6 multiple times each week. A regular guest on FOX6 Real Milwaukee on Wednesdays, Chef Feker shares his recipes and cooking tips with viewers to enable them to create healthy meals at home. He also showcases his cuisine on FOX6 WakeUp Friday mornings, as well as on the Weekend WakeUp Saturday mornings. Feker's Kitchen, 30-minute live cooking show where Feker's mission is to get his viewers/guests back to the table to share nourishment, conversation, and togetherness with your family and friends. He strives to open their eyes, take away those culinary unknowns and share with them the WHY’s of food and cooking.

Despite the popularity and notoriety achieved throughout his career, Chef Feker is down-to-earth and is most comfortable in the kitchen, which makes The Chef Michael Feker School of Culinary Magic a perfect addition. It gives him the platform to share what he has learned from his renowned teachers with everyday people who have a love for cooking and fine cuisine.
