Since 2011, the corporate giving of Foundation Financial Group has increased by 450%. Many different events have been hosted and sponsored, allowing the corporation to give back to its communities across the nation wholeheartedly.
Some of the larger philanthropic events included a national food drive for Salvation Army, a national head shaving fundraising event benefiting St. Baldrick’s Foundation, working with Autism Speaks and Habitat for Humanity, as well as collaborating with the Minnesota Military Family Foundation. Smaller events involved crafting snowflakes for Sandy Hook Elementary children as well as participating in “No Shave November” for prostate cancer awareness.
“Being such a successful company, we want to make sure that we are always giving back to our communities in some way, shape or form,” said Chief Executive Officer, Mark Boyer. “Our employees are always eager to help their community somehow and we want to make sure their desires to give are fulfilled.”
“This year was a great year for corporate giving. Mid-year we surpassed the million dollar mark in our philanthropic initiatives and we kept going to set a company record,” Boyer continued. “We’re planning on having an even more successful giving year in 2013.”
Organizations that the Jacksonville divisions worked with include Autism Speaks, Sulzbacher Center, Second Harvest of North Florida and Life Rolls On.
