Bryant Lawn & Sprinkler Introduces "Green" Method to Water Flowerbeds this Year

Bryant Lawn & Sprinkler introduces drip irrigation as the "green" way to water flowerbeds and gardens.

Bryant Lawn & Sprinkler is offering and recommending a much more efficient irrigation system for the 2013 growing season. Drip irrigation, or trickle irrigation, saves more water than traditional irrigation methods by allowing water to drip directly on the root zone of plants.

With water restrictions throughout the South, many residents find it hard to maintain bountiful, healthy gardens and flowerbeds. Drip irrigation is the "green" way to water flowerbeds. Bryant professionals prefer to install all flowerbeds with drip irrigation within their own dedicated zone. When properly installed, there is no evaporation, no water run off, and zero water waste. All water is used and is directed at the root ball of each plant.

Because of its water conserving qualities, drip irrigation is not included in city water restrictions. Currently, most restrictions only allow one watering per week. As the population grows and the lack of rain continues, the restrictions will only increase. Drip irrigation allows the resident to water gardens and flowerbeds whenever he or she pleases, without regard to other water restrictions in their area.
