When the actuator manufacturer, LINAK, participates in this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair, they will display a line of products for the adjustable bed market. Besides the new hand control, HC10, LINAK will also present a new app for beds as well as the new TWINDRIVE TD1 280 SMPS dual actuator with low standby consumption 0.1W as standard, and integrated light under the bed.

We are displaying a line of unique products at this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair, and LINAK is without doubt setting a precedent with the external power supply.

This year, visitors at Stockholm Furniture Fair will be introduced to a leisure bed filled with new products from LINAK. The bed is for instance fitted with the new dual actuator TWINDRIVE TD1 280 SMPS. The advantage of the new dual actuator is the external power supply, which is based on Switch Mode Power Supply technology. The motor is fitted with ZERO technology, which gives it a standby power consumption of only 0.1W. The integrated light under the bed is also a new feature in the TWINDRIVE, which gives discrete, practical lighting if the user needs to get up during the night. Furthermore the SMPS technology means an improved speed level, and it also ensures a more pleasant noise level.

  • We are displaying a line of unique products at this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair, and LINAK is without doubt setting a precedent with the external power supply. It is important for LINAK that the environment is considered in everything we do. ZERO technology in the dual actuator ensures a low stand by power consumption, which gives the product a great, green touch, says Flemming Niebuhr, segment responsible for HOMELINE at LINAK Danmark A/S.

New hand control with focus on design
Besides the greener motor, LINAK also brings a new hand control, where design has been a top priority. LINAK focused on ensuring that the hand control has an aesthetic design, without compromising the functionality. According to one of LINAK’s customers it is a wise move of the Danish manufacturer to consider design in their hand controls.

  • It is unique and fantastic that LINAK includes design in their hand control, and it puts them in a strong position compared to their competitors. Furthermore, ZERO standby consumption is a unique selling point for us, and it is fantastic that we can achieve a green profile with the motor. In general, LINAK is a strong brand, which reflects quality. The use of LINAK’s logo on our products has a high value for us, says Kim Rasmussen, MD at European House of Beds, Denmark.

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair LINAK will also present an App for comfort beds called Bed Control. The app is compatible with Apple devices, and makes it possible to use e.g. your iPad as a hand control for the complete bed. LINAK sees great potential for customers to develop their own customised apps, which are tailored for their brands and beds.

The new products will be displayed on LINAK’s stand, A33:36, at Stockholm Furniture Fair from February 5th-9th.

Advantages of the TWINDRIVE SMPS version:

  •     Low standby power consumption as standard (ZERO™ technology = 0.1W in standby)
