Hayes train station is set for redevelopment

Hayes is a very exciting place to start a business right now

The third quarter of 2012 was a successful one for West London town, Hayes. During this period, there were more company formations than any other Q3 on record for the area.

The third quarter also saw the highest ever net company growth for a Q3 in Hayes, and its UK company share shoot to a record level.

In May last year, the town was branded 'the poster child for urban regeneration', as a major reconstruction of the railway station was announced. The project is due to be completed in 2018 and will be the driving force behind wider regeneration of the area. Another major redevelopment project will take place at the former EMI factory site, which is set for a £250m investment to provide hundreds of homes, as well as office space and leisure facilities.

Managing Director of Duport.co.uk, Peter Valaitis commented:

“Hayes is a very exciting place to start a business right now, with excellent links to Central London and a whole range of redevelopment projects in the pipeline.”

“It’s little wonder we have seen start-ups flock to the area in recent months, entrepreneurs are clearly becoming aware of the opportunities Hayes has to offer.”
