The law firm Meagher & Geer is pleased to announce that Chuck Spevacek a senior partner, management committee member and co-head of the firm’s insurance practice group has been selected as a member of the Board of Regents of the of the newly formed American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel (ACCEC). Also from Minneapolis, Tom Mielenhausen of Barnes & Thornburg is a new ACCEC member, he represents policy holders.

Chuck has over 30 years of experience litigating complex commercial cases, with particular emphasis on the trial and appeal of insurance coverage disputes, including breach of contract, declaratory judgment and bad faith actions. He was selected for inclusion under the “Insurance Law” and "Mass Tort Litigation" specialties in The Best Lawyers in America. He has been named one of Minnesota’s 10 best appellate lawyers and one of Minnesota’s 100 best lawyers. He was selected in 2006 as one of Minnesota Lawyer’s 15 “Attorneys of the Year.” He is a member of the Board of Directors of Center of the American Experiment having previously served as Chairman. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Ridgeview Hospital Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of The Purdue Alumni Association.
