1SolTech, a Texas-based solar power manufacturing company, announced last Friday that they will be adding a new addition to the 1SolTech team, Fernando Tapia. Tapia is coming on as the Director of Business Development and is presumed to become a huge asset for 1SolTech utilizing both his background in sales and his presence in the solar energy world.
“We couldn’t be more happy to bring on Fernando,” said Sandy Fardi, Co-Founder of 1SolTech. “His impressive background and expertise should prove to be a great attribution to our 1SolTech team.” Tapia has over 12 years of experience in multiple industries including, aerospace, entertainment, medical technology, and energy with a track record of increasing revenues, containing costs, and optimizing both efficiency and processes. His background includes senior positions in contract negotiations at Boeing, strategic planning at Disney, AOP and sales strategy at Medtronic/St. Jude Medical, and P&L Optimization at Solar World. He currently resides in California, where 1Soltech is looking to increase their presence in the solar hot spot of the United States.
Tapia’s first experience with 1SolTech will be at the upcoming International Roofing Expo in San Antonio, TX, February 5th-7th. There, 1SolTech will be displaying their modules and sharing their expertise in the field with both attendees and exhibitors.
