Dixie Graphics Receives Award Recognizing Innovation from Tube Council of North America

Dixie Graphics was recently recognized as a runner-up in the "Best Innovative Component or Process" category of the 2012 Tube of the Year awards presented by The Tube Council of North America.

The award recognizes intricate color separations, screen technology, and dry offset platemaking Dixie Graphics provided for an aluminum tube, manufactured and printed by Montebello Packaging

VP of Manufacturing Jay Avrett, the project’s leader, points out that “the use of color correction and proprietary clean screening technologies along with digital plates for dry offset printing which maximized sharpness of dots and text,” were all critical elements in producing the winning, printed tube.
