Prime Advantage, the leading buying consortium for midsized manufacturers, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new partnership with NTEA - The Association for the Work Truck Industry, to assist member companies in managing costs for manufacturing and fabrication consumables.

NTEA, which represents nearly 1,600 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories, has selected Prime Advantage to provide NTEA members with access to leveraged savings programs on a variety of direct and indirect goods along with services needed to manufacturer products, run their facilities and operate their businesses.

NTEA selected Prime Advantage for its ability to provide NTEA members with competitive pricing, volume-based rebates and extensive value-added services as well as with a means to run their manufacturing and fabricating operations with increased efficiency and profitability.

“We are so pleased to be partnering with Prime Advantage to give our members a real competitive advantage through their programs and services,” said Steve Carey, executive director, NTEA. “This partnership grants our members access to competitive savings programs geared towards mid-market companies that manufacture and fabricate products. We felt Prime Advantage was the perfect fit as we look to deliver value-added services for our membership."

As an endorsed NTEA Program, Prime Advantage is part of a select group of third party organizations that serve NTEA members by helping their businesses achieve important cost savings and efficiencies.

“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to serve the work truck industry. We are confident that NTEA members will form strong partnerships with our endorsed supplier network that should deliver both immediate and long-term benefits for their businesses,” said Louise O’Sullivan, founder, president and CEO of Prime Advantage Corporation. “NTEA is a highly respected association and we’re looking forward to growing our partnership.”

In addition to serving more than 750 North American manufacturers itself, Prime Advantage has similar partnerships in other manufacturing segments with associations such as The National Confectioners Association (NCA), the American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA), the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA), and the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI).

In the past ten years, Prime Advantage has paid more than $130 million in rebates and discounts to its manufacturing industry members. These real savings are helping U.S. companies gain a powerful competitive advantage.
