The Wyvern Standard – the original standard upon which Wyvern Consulting, Ltd. was built – is one of the strictest standards of safety in the industry today. Operators undergo a 2-3 day on site audit to ensure they meet the expectations of The Wyvern Standard. “Third-party audits are an important element of our safety culture and we are proud to have once again completed our Wyvern audit,” says Bill Haberstock, President of Keystone Aviation. Post-audit an operator is required to keep up with particular reporting requirements. Operator, aircraft and crew background checks happen 24/7 in the Wyvern database. This ensures that the Wyvern audit is valid through the term of the recommendation and that it is more than just a snapshot of what the audit team saw while they were on site with the charter operator.

Wyvern uses state-of-the-art technology and hands-on data mining to obtain accurate, real-time data, including training documents, crew currency, insurance levels, maintenance training and aircraft hours and additional relevant information. Thousands of data points are reviewed both manually and within the system every day. With the only system available that evaluates both process and compliance, Wyvern’s approach to safety is unique in the industry.

Wyvern is a global leader in aviation safety auditing, consulting and information services, providing one of the most rigorous onsite safety auditing packages in the world, through its Wyvern Wingman Operator program, as well as, a best practices program for brokers, through the Wyvern Registered Broker system.
