After a stunning performance of painting Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs at Albuquerque Film & Media Experience’s launch party at The Sundance Film Festival, Michael Ostaski of Art Explosion, will be joining Albuquerque Film & Media Experience for another grand performance – a statewide art contest throughout New Mexico schools.
AFME will be conducting an art contest for middle, high school and college age students throughout the state looking to support the talents of students interested in painting their best celebrity portrait. The top thirty portraits will be exhibited in Nob Hill during the festival experience with the grand prize winners in each age bracket be given the opportunity to have a private lunch with Michael Ostaski and two VIP tickets to attend the festival’s closing night Awards Show, held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.

The contest will begin February 8, 2013 with deadline details posted on the official AFME Facebook page and The Albuquerque Film & Media Experience website.
