About EmpowerID | An Industry Leader in Cloud Security Identity and Access Management

EmpowerID from The Dot Net Factory is an innovative and industry-leading approach to the challenges of Cloud Security and Identity and Access Management (IAM).

The EmpowerID approach differs from costly and inefficient legacy IAM products by starting with a platform that is not only built from one single, highly scalable codebase, it is also built entirely on a visually designed workflow architecture, combining IAM with Business Process Automation (BPA) to create a simpler and more easily customized solution. EmpowerID allows trained users to map out complex automated processes that conform to unique organizational requirements quickly and effectively. EmpowerID ships with more than 460 workflows ready to perform complex provisioning and management tasks out of the box. Its Workflow Studio allows developers to connect to existing processes and services and to rapidly create new workflows.

Other key innovations of EmpowerID include: a sophisticated Role Based Access Control (RBAC) technology that can utilize multiple organizational hierarchies to create an intuitive and highly effective method for managing Identity relationships, while also supporting Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) and direct assignment of privileges; a Metadirectory / Virtual Directory hybrid that provides fast access to easily customized attributes, as well as the ability to poll connected systems on the fly; an integrated and standards based SSO; a configurable HTML5 interface based on “responsive design” that allows content to be properly formatted for a satisfying user experience in the era of “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD); and finally, a deep bidirectional connector model that provides clients with a “single pane of glass” for visibility and control over an enterprise’s entire Identity structure.
