Once Sketchup is deployed, an organization can’t afford to have users waiting on the help desk.
(PRWEB) February 15, 2013
Trimble Sketchup is the latest application to be tackled by PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop management and Group Policy.
The pre-configured Pak for Sketchup offers a way for IT admins to dictate and ensure configuration settings so users get the same experience every time the application is launched. The Pak also allows admins to disable application updates so updates are admin controlled and not user controlled. In addition, the Pak gives admins the ability to manage the “Auto-Save” feature so users don’t lose unsaved work. A video demonstration on the Trimble Sketchup Pak can be found on the PolicyPak website.
IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
“Once Sketchup is deployed, an organization can’t afford to have users waiting on the help desk, which is why admins can’t afford to put users in charge of the administration of this or any other application,” says Jeremy Moskowitz, founder of PolicyPak Software and Microsoft Group Policy MVP.
PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
