Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Florida, has designed magnetic door guards that could protect a vehicle’s doors from being damaged while parked. This invention is patented.

“Ding Buster” guards would take only seconds to apply and remove. The invention could offer peace of mind to new car and truck owners because they could eliminate the hassle of having to pay for expensive repairs from repeated dings and damage. The compact design allows for easy storage.

Ding Buster would consist of a magnetic guard that would be rectangular in shape and feature a concave center. The unit would be constructed from weather-resistant, durable plastic, which would be magnetized on one side. The outer surface of the guard could be painted any color to match a vehicle. Tabs would enable a user to apply and remove each end of the guard with ease. To use, an individual would apply the guard in a horizontal fashion, just beneath the car’s door handle. When not in use, the door guards can be stored in the vehicle’s trunk. The concave portion on the front of the guard could be producible with logos and slogans, as well as in two-door and four-door versions.

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 09-TPA-1331 at (800) 851-6030.
