Hillton Optoelectronics Co., Ltd, a leading designer and manufacturer of fiber optic components and subsystems, today announced that its optical transceivers (SFP, SFP+ and XFP) have been certified by UL and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) as well as acknowledged by U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).

"We are pleased to receive the UL and CSA certifications for our optical transceivers,” said Wenqin Zhong, Chairman and CEO of Hillton. “The globally recognized UL and CSA certification marks validate the performance, reliability, and safety of Hillton’s products”.

The UL and CSA certifications confirm that Hillton’s products have been independently tested and certified to meet both U.S. and Canadian industry-recognized standards for safety and performance. The attainment of the UL and CSA certifications enables Hillton to market its products in USA and Canada and thus strengthens its presence in the global marketplace.
The acknowledgement by FDA’s CDRH further verifies that Hillton’s products meet the regulations for radiation-emitting electronic products.
