Earth Advantage Institute (EAI), a nonprofit focused on creating tools for better buildings, is excited to announce its CakeSystems energy efficiency software will be showcased at this year’s ACI (Affordable Comfort, Inc.) Northwest Home Performance Conference, on February 5th and 6th in Seattle.

At this year's conference participants will have the opportunity to test the software and meet with CakeSystems staff.

CakeSystems was designed to provide an investment-grade energy-auditing tool to an industry that lacked a way to provide a fast, flexible and accurate tool to the market. At this year’s ACI Northwest Home Performance Conference participants will have the opportunity to test the software and meet with CakeSystems staff. In addition, EAI’s Executive Director, David Heslam will be presenting at two of the various conference sessions, both focusing on relationships with home performance contractors. On Tuesday February 5th at 1:30 Heslam will contribute to a panel titled “Relationships Matter” for Home Performance Contractors, with Chad Ruhoff, General Manager at Neil Kelly Co Inc. On Wednesday morning at 8:30 Heslam will present on a Contractor and Program Support panel titled, Supporting Home Performance Contractors Through the Delivery of Energy Labels. The other speakers on this panel will be Chad Ruhoff of Neil Kelly Co Inc and Diane Ferington, Residential Lead from Energy Trust of Oregon.

For home performance contractors, CakeSystems software enables more time to spend with clients, enhancing relationships and increasing profits while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. CakeSystems National Sales Manager, Andrew Healy commented, "We are excited to showcase the industry-leading CakeSystems software platform at the ACI Northwest Home Performance Conference. To learn more, please visit our exhibition booth to meet our team and demo our suite of software products."

Energy efficiency programs in Washington, Virginia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Alabama, North Dakota, Vermont, Arizona and Oregon are currently using CakeSystems software. Independent energy auditors are also using the software in eighteen different states across the country.
