Oakland, Calif. (PRWEB) February 04, 2013
Animals and love, does it really exist? Does it last? How do they court one another? What about finding that mate or reproducing? Tell me more, tell me more.
The Oakland Zoo is celebrating Valentine’s Day two days this year. Adults eighteen years or older are invited to join the Oakland Zoo's Education Department and take a closer look on all things love related in the animal kingdom. Grab a mate and come on down to the Oakland Zoo for the Animal Amore events taking place on Thursday, February 14, 2013, and Friday, February 15, 2013. Pre-registration is required.
An Animal Amore tour takes place in the morning on both Thursday, February 14, and Friday, February 15, from 9:00am-11:00am. This is a special walking tour through the Zoo that will highlight how different animals mate and reproduce. Light refreshments will be served as guests embark on this exciting learning adventure of various animal love lives. Attendees will hear the good, the strange, and the truth about all things love related to our animal friends. Program cost is $10.00 for members, with free parking, or $25.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is required, so secure your spot today.
Didn’t have a chance to take a date out on Valentine’s Day? There's still time. Attend the Animal Amore evening event held on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
