“Looking for oil is a tough business. Holding onto a major oil discovery is even tougher, for the independent oilman, because everyone wants to stake a claim to your find,” says Michael “Mike” Coolures, ANLOC, LLC.
HOUSTON, TEXAS (PRWEB) February 08, 2013
Anloc Energy, located in Houston, announces its victory in two legal cases argued before the U.S. Federal Courts in Houston. These two legal victories helped Anloc Energy secure the rights to the Hockley Dome oilfield, located near Houston. The independent oil and gas producer can now move forward with its exploration plans, looking to extract one of our most sought-after resources.
“Looking for oil is a tough business. Holding onto a major discovery is even tougher, for the independent oilman, because everyone wants to stake a claim to your find,” says Michael “Mike” Coolures, founder and managing partner of Anloc Energy. “I thank God for this huge win.”
Mike Coolures stated “Throughout the legal dispute I was accused of many things, and even temporarily put in bankruptcy. It feels wonderful to be vindicated."
After a lengthy legal battle, both the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, ruled in his favor, finding that Anloc and Coolures were indeed the rightful owners and were therefore awarded all drilling and operating rights to the oilfield; as well as recordable title to the find. The two court cases that Michael Coolures and Anloc Energy won are:
IN RE: ANLOC, LLC - Case Number 12-31267-H1-11, United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Texas
IN RE: ANLOC, LLC - Case Number 12-03122, United States District Court, Southern District of Texas
Following his victory in these legal battles, Michael Coolures can now lead Anloc Energy in exploring the area, with all doubts about the legitimacy of his right to do so cast aside. Anloc Energy is the sole independent oil and gas producer on the Warren Ranch.
“We are pleased that the truth has finally come out and that we can move forward,” added Coolures. “Next, we will focus on what we do best, find oil, which will ultimately benefit many others.”
