On February 5, Cameron Amigo, a representative from speech-writing company Laugh Staff announced that its new website will launch on March 11th.
Laugh Staff connects professional comedians with everyday people to create the most memorable best man, maid-of-honor or wedding speeches and toasts.
“Laugh Staff’s purpose is to help guys write and give hilarious best man speeches,” Amigo said. “At some point in your life, I’m sure you’ve seen one of those wedding speeches that were so bad you wish you were at a Jets game…a speech that was so bad even Tim Tebow couldn’t ‘save you’ from it. Our services seek to eliminate that awkwardness and make the wedding a better experience for everyone from the bride, to the best man, and any bride maid in between.”
After the website’s launch on March 11th, clients can upload their own best man speeches and pay to have one of Laugh Staff’s professional comedy writers revise it. The writer will edit the speech and provide feedback to the client within 24 to 72 hours.
If a client is unsure where to start, they can contact Laugh Staff and have a comedian help them write the entire speech. This “total package” includes two one-on-one phone calls with a comedian to create a personalized speech that is heartfelt and hilarious. If it’s not written exactly the way you want the first time, Laugh Staff’s “total package” includes five extra edits.
In addition to its website, Laugh Staff is holding a contest on its Facebook page. For a chance to win tickets to comedy shows around the country, comedy DVDs, gift cards, discounts and speech examples, all you need to do is “like” the Laugh Staff Facebook page. They will be choosing a winner each week.
Laugh Staff provides speech-writing services to friends and family members of the bride and groom. They assist best men and maid of honors in speech editing, speech writing and training on speech delivery. Recognizing the importance of the big day, best men and maid of honors work with professional comedians to ensure their speech is memorable.
