Lorna Kleidman Comments on the Expansion of Fitness Classes in Gloucester Township Institution

The Gloucester Township Institution adds kettlebell exercises to its fitness classes. Lorna Kleidman, a kettlebell fitness expert, comments on the addition.

On February 5, fitness expert Lorna Kleidman responds to the new fitness classes that are seeing success in a gym in Gloucester Township, N.J.

According to an article from the Gloucester Township Patch, two fitness experts – Tang Soo Doo Grand Master Dominick Giacobbe and “Teddy Munz, a personal trainer and owner of Keep It Simple Fitness Solutions” – have combined their talents to create a successful series of fitness classes at Giacobbe’s facility, ProFitness. The various classes ProFitness offers include Zumba, yoga, circuit training, kickboxing and Munz’s specialty; kettlebell exercises.

According to the article, kettlebell fitness participants have seen phenomenal results. One woman who has attended the classes for the last nine months as shed 75 pounds in that time.

Kettlebell exercises “are designed to offer both a cardio workout and weight training,” the article stated. “The classes… are intense, but the community atmosphere of the gym keeps everyone coming back.”

Lorna Kleidman, fitness expert and kettlebell world champion, states, “Kettlebell exercises are a fun and effective way to get in shape. It’s great that these two men have been able to build a class that has approximately 100 attendees and is still effective for everyone participating.”

Kleidman adds that it is also important to offer movement modifications for students who attend classes. Offering modified movements geared towards beginners gives people a great starting point to work up to more intense drills.
