Howard Chilcutt, Chairman of The Jones Company has announced Ken Stricker as the new CEO of The Jones Company of Tennessee, and all affiliated companies, including Consort Homes in St. Louis. Stricker will be responsible for the operations in both homebuilding companies going forward.
Stricker, who has over 20 years experience in homebuilding, joined the original Jones Company organization in St. Louis in 1994, and remained there as Division President after the St. Louis division of the company was sold to Centex Homes in 2003. He then became President of Consort Homes in 2006 and has also been serving as Chief Financial Officer of both the St. Louis and Nashville operations.
“I have worked with Ken for over twenty years and have enjoyed watching him help build our company into the highly-respected, multi-million dollar operation it is today,” added Chilcutt. “Ken will be in Nashville regularly working closely with our management team to continue our growth agenda and leadership position in the market.”
Chilcutt also announced that as Stricker will be vacating the Chief Financial Officer position, Julie Ellis, CPA, has been promoted to CFO for the entire organization. Ellis previously held the title of Controller for The Jones Company. Ellis previously was employed by a large public accounting firm for five years before joining The Jones Company in 2004.
Another notable recent change, Perry Pratt has now been promoted to Vice President of Operations of The Jones Company. Pratt joined The Jones Company in 2004, and has been overseeing day to day operations since 2007. He has over twenty five years of experience in the home building industry. Pratt was also recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Homebuilders Association of Middle Tennessee.
