Mole•Master™ Services Corporation has received fire and smoke restoration certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification.

The certification specifically addresses the Ohio-based company’s smoke removal services that use dry ice blasting. It recognizes that Mole•Master operates in a professional manner and follows industry standards. It also authorizes the Marietta-based silo and bin cleaning provider for inclusion in the IICRC referral database, which the institute maintains at its website,

The IICRC notes that property restoration after a fire can be quite complex, adding that proper smoke and odor removal requires technicians certified in these areas.

“Professional restoration technicians understand the need for quick response,” the institute said on its website. “The longer the remediation is delayed, the higher the cost of restoration.

“Certified restorers have the knowledge to test materials and apply the restoration techniques required to return items to their pre-loss condition,” according to the institute.

“The IICRC recognition highlights Mole•Master’s industry-leading practices and capabilities,” company General Manager Dave Laing said.

“We’re very pleased with this additional IICRC certification,” he said, crediting the effort to Jeremy Snyder, Abrasive Blasting Supervisor. Jeremy has over a decade of experience in media and cryogenic blasting services and completed the weeklong course required for certification.

“This is yet another method of demonstrating for customers our commitment to quality service and safety,” Snyder said. “Clients know they can rely on the expertise of such certification organizations to properly review and vet their vendors’ practices.”

The IICRC certification comes on the heels of news last year that the provider of silo and bin cleaning services had been vetted and accepted for membership by seven safety management groups:

  •     BROWZ
  •     ISNetworld
  •     PEC
  •     PICS
  •     Purchasing Services
  •     Safety Management Inc.

“It’s gratifying to have our practices and policies recognized by such a wide variety of groups,” Laing said. “We look forward to continuing to meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.”

For over a quarter of a century, Mole•Master has been a leader in the silo and bin cleaning industry, as well as a cutting-edge manufacturer of silo-cleaning equipment and provider of structural silo inspections.
