"If you want to stay competitive, you must have a BSN degree," said Pamela Ishida, Hondros College RN-to-BSN program graduate.

Hondros College announced today the RN-to-BSN program’s first graduating class.

Introduced in 2011, Hondros College’s online RN-to-BSN program was created to meet the increasing demand for bachelor’s-degree-prepared RNs who can provide advanced levels of care in diverse settings. Hondros College’s RN-to-BSN program offers quality education, using state-of-the-art learning technology, a simple online platform, direct admissions and flexible scheduling options for working adults.

“Hondros College is proud to announce the first RN-to-BSN graduating class,” said Linda Hondros, President of Hondros College. “With an increased number of hospitals and clinics now requiring nurses to obtain BSN degrees, it is our goal to offer high-quality, nursing education opportunities that enable working RNs to pursue advanced education and remain competitive in the nursing field.”

Qualified students have the ability to complete the program in as little as 12 months. Students may enroll on a quarterly basis and choose a full or part time path, providing the flexibility to further their education at their convenience.

“If you want to stay competitive, you must have a BSN degree,” said Pamela Ishida, Hondros College RN-to-BSN program graduate. “Younger graduates are coming out of school with a BSN. I’ve learned firsthand that the BSN degree is more important to some employers than years of experience.”

“I’m a non-traditional student; an adult RN working in Cincinnati, and I was very pleased with the program. I encourage my friends to continue down the path of obtaining an RN-to-BSN degree with Hondros College,” said Ishida.

The program offers a comprehensive nursing curriculum that is designed to accommodate working RNs who aspire to advance their education as full- or part-time students. Hondros remains competitive in the industry through the staff’s one-on-one dedication to students and economical pricing, set at $175 per credit hour for nursing courses.
