Executives have begun 2013 with the hope that the new year will will be a successful and profitable year for their businesses. However, hope isn’t a strategy. Author Harvey MacKay states "If you fail to plan then you plan to fail.”

Hope is not a business strategy.

Many leaders don’t know how to develop or implement a strategic plan that works. They live with that uneasy feeling down in their gut knowing that the lack of an effective strategic plan will negatively impact their businesses in this difficult and challenging economic environment.

Kathleen Ranahan MBA, Business Strategist and C-Level coach is pleased to announce a partnership with Rob Waite, entrepreneur, author and former Fortune 500 executive, to offer companies a facilitated a process to quickly develop a strategic plan that works! Rob Waite has applied this methodology with both publicly and privately held companies that led each company to grow profitably at high double digit percentage rates, including a company he led as CEO being named to the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America.

The heart of the process was designed to take companies through a proven process to determine how the current environment creates difficulty for the company and their competitors and to then craft unique ways to turn those difficulties into opportunities. This strategic planning process works in this environment because the designer of the process has a proven track record of success from “old school” brick and mortar companies to web development businesses and all points in between.

Kathleen and Rob have an association that goes back ten years. Kathleen wanted to bring to her clients the methodologies Rob has used, which led to their partnership in creating a multi-day facilitated program to guide a company’s leadership through a detailed process of discovery leading to a documented, executable strategic plan.

Each company also goes through a half-day follow up within 90 to 120 days after the launch of the strategy to address any fine-tuning that needs to take place. Additionally, each company has their own private Wiki to create continuing collaboration on their strategic execution and to enable Kathleen and Rob to coach the executive team as they implement their strategic plan.
