With a comprehensive hardware and software solution, Lightspeed Systems allows schools to create safe, mobile, and collaborative learning environments.

Lightspeed Systems is excited to announce the opening of their latest company branch in Austin, Texas. In addition to the Lightspeed Systems main office in Bakersfield, California, the company also has locations in the UK and Australia. Having established a strong presence and customer base in Texas, Lightspeed Systems is pleased to now call Austin home.

Texas school districts lead the nation in adopting innovative educational technology, and Lightspeed Systems is looking forward to partnering with even more of those schools to accomplish amazing things in the classroom. With a comprehensive hardware and software solution, Lightspeed Systems allows schools to create safe, mobile, and collaborative learning environments. By providing districts with smarter filtering, education-specific mobile device management, and an engaging learning management system (LMS), Lightspeed Systems bridges the gap between IT and educators and ensures students have safe access to transformative learning programs—anytime, anywhere.

Coinciding with the opening of the new Lightspeed Systems office is the annual Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) convention and exposition, occurring this week in Austin. Lightspeed Systems has been involved with TCEA for many years, and this year is no exception. The company will be presenting multiple break-out sessions, focusing on implementing and managing a mobile device program with Lightspeed Systems’ Mobile Manager and using the company’s collaborative LMS, My Big Campus, in the classroom. Lightspeed Systems is pleased to once again have the opportunity to connect with Texas educators, IT staff, and school administrations at TCEA—only this time as a local Texas company.

Brian Thomas, President of Lightspeed Systems, knows expanding into Texas is a step in the right direction for the company. “Texas schools are ready, willing, and excited for technology in the classroom. And we share in their excitement. Our new permanent office in Austin will allow us to connect with even more schools in Texas and help them reach their mobile learning goals.”

The new Lightspeed Systems office is located in the Littlefield Building at 106 East Sixth Street, Suite 415 in Austin, Texas.
