Guia da Semana, the largest online city guide in Brazil, has partnered with Dallas, Texas-based o2o Interactive to develop a next-generation local search & discovery platform. The partnership will focus on launching a seamless 4-screen connected experience (desktop, tablet, smartphone and Smart TV), context sensitive search and a dynamic real-time merchant interface to manage digital content and campaigns while reaching consumers anywhere, anytime. The new market offerings demonstrate Guia da Semana’s commitment to expanding new services for brands, retailers and small to medium businesses while creating a more engaging consumer experience.

With a rapidly expanding Brazilian middle-class, consumer spending is on the rise. Major events including the World Cup in 2014 and the 2016 Olympics will showcase o2o Interactive’s platform and allow Guia da Semana to provide new ways of connecting buyers and sellers.
