The round was led by SKS Capital along with other noteworthy Silicon Valley based Angel investors. The round provides capital to support Proton’s continued development and expansion of its cutting-edge flash reliability IP products that address a major market requirement - increasing the endurance and longevity of Flash Memory.
Proton Digital Systems provides best-in-class LDPC-based Flash Read Channel IP that achieves industry-leading Flash Memory endurance and longevity performance while consuming 50% less power than comparable solutions. Already recognized as a technology leader, Proton’s IP is currently licensed for enterprise and consumer applications and is generating a steady revenue stream.
