Mobile Beer Wall in 'Action'

A bar owner makes an average 23% more profit per keg versus the usual waste and giveaway seen behind a bar so that’s better than a valentine card.

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) February 09, 2013

With most holiday decorations back in their containers by now the focus is firmly on red window dressings, hearts and cupids most everywhere. Innovative Tap Solutions makes self-serve beer tables and walls where customers get to serve themselves. Bar owners buy the systems to use in their establishments and they attract customers. The Maryland-based company is honoring Valentine’s day by giving the love back to their customers, literally. They are offering system buyers a free keg of Yard’s “Love Stout”, a Philadelphia brewery, if they purchase a self-serve table in the month of February.

With more than 200 self-service beer locations across the US that the PourMyBeer leadership team are responsible for, they are the self-service beer trend. Self-serve beer dispensing equipment like beer walls and tables are legal in 44 states, allowing customers to pour their own beer at either device through the use of a unique fob. Customers can choose to pour a full pint or a partial glass and pay for what they pour.

“Self-service is becoming more visible everywhere in society now,” stated Declan Duggan, co-founder of pourmybeer. “Bar customers love the freedom of choice to try different beer styles, and we wanted to share some 'love' (stout) with those who choose to buy our equipment this month. A bar owner makes an average 23% more profit per keg versus the usual waste and giveaway seen behind a bar so that’s better than a valentine card from us we think. If Yard’s is not available in some areas we will send the owner a credit for the cost as a gesture but honestly the beer is what their customers want.”

The number of beers served to any one customer is limited by the self-serve beer walls. After two beers have been poured the customer has to be checked by a staff member to gain further access to beer. Essentially they are cut off until they get ‘approved’ every two beers. is an Innovative Tap Solutions Company. The company was formed in MD in 2008 and made the first commercial mobile self-serve beer tables in the US. It also sells and distributes fixed beer walls, mobile beer walls, fixed draft tables and mobile draft self-serve tables. All mobile equipment is made in the USA.
