Now with our new infant and toddler offering, my two year old gets all the benefits of a robust home library and has a head start on reading for when he enters preschool in the fall.

Sproutkin—the first service to bring the best elements of a library, classroom and bookstore to your doorstep—has launched a new monthly book delivery program for infants and toddlers ages 0-3 as a complement to its current 3-6 program for preschoolers. Both programs are $24.99 per month.
Each 0-3 Sproutkit includes two to four board books and occasionally a bonus toy, all hand-picked by educational advisors to correspond with a specific learning goal. Kits come with a curriculum card describing each developmental milestone with supporting educational tips. Subscribers in the 0-3 program receive one kit per month that is theirs to keep.
Sproutkin was developed to promote early childhood literacy. The company’s first monthly program, launched in October 2012, was designed for preschoolers ages 3-6. Each 3-6 kit comes with 10 books curated by educational advisors around a central theme, and includes a curriculum card with tips, questions and activities to maximize the learning experience. In Sproutkin’s 3-6 program, customers can return books with prepaid shipping and receive new ones as often as they like throughout the month. They can also keep the books their children have fallen in love with for 10% off the retail price.
“Our preschool program was inspired by my kindergartener. She could never have enough books, yet after one or two reads she’d want to move on to the next,” said Sproutkin founder and CEO, Raelyn Bleharski. “Now with our new infant and toddler offering, my two year old gets all the benefits of a robust home library and has a head start on reading for when he enters preschool in the fall.”
Sproutkin was the answer to a child's never-ending request for more books. 4-year old Ellie grew bored of her static book collection and constantly asked for new books. Ellie's mom, Raelyn, had limited time to regularly visit bookstores and libraries, and was hesitant to order books online without browsing them. We developed Sproutkin to give all children unlimited access to books. And for the parents? Now we don't need to carve out precious time for trips to bookstores; no more pressure to spend hours finding the "best" children's books; and no more clutter on our bookshelves with once-read books! Most importantly, with Sproutkin we parents can rest at ease knowing our kids are receiving the essential basics and more to thrive in this world.
