Next Step Beauty have today released year on year figures from January 2012 to January 2013 showing a massive 240% growth on like for like sales on the same year previous. Next Step Beauty, who provide accredited nail courses and beauty courses through a unique blend of distance learning and practical training in location nationwide successfully accredited 2918 students in 2012. The company also reported that 81% of students who used their service where either starting their own beauty business immediately or were planning too within the next two years.

Victoria Arpels, Founder of Next Step Beauty said, “We are delighted that more and more students are finding our courses and enjoying our training structure, getting more out of their training days because of our online course materials. We are proud to be helping people back to work as well as helping them start their own businesses especially in these times of austerity. Without doubt our vision of distance learning combined with practical training with experienced, qualified tutors has led to an increase in demand and we plan to continue developing these channels further over the coming months.”

Next Step Beauty have also announced plans to develop their student portal, allowing students to further interact with both the company but also creating profiles to interact with each other.

Hayley Leigh, Customer Services Manager said “Our student portal is an amazing resource, allowing students to view full online demonstrations, read course manuals and benefit from our support systems prior to attending practical training days. This resource is then open to students after they qualify allowing them to continue the process of learning and enhance their experience.”
