Laurus Technical Institute (LTI) offers four scholarships to assist students who want to pursue career-based education within the Allied Health, Heating & Air Conditioning, Maintenance, Refrigeration, or Welding fields.

The costs of higher education are rising, and the importance of higher education is ever increasing. Students everywhere are looking for ways to lighten the financial burden to pursue an education. Laurus Technical Institute (LTI) offers four scholarships to assist students who want to pursue career-based education within the Allied Health, Heating & Air Conditioning, Maintenance, Refrigeration, or Welding fields.

“The economy is changing, and a greater emphasis is being placed on career-based education and skilled trades. We understand the financial toll that pursuing a higher education can have on students,” said Terry Hess, CEO of Laurus Technical Institute. “We offer these scholarships to help propel education and continue graduating knowledgeable, competitive job candidates that can better their lives financially.”

Laurus Technical Institute offers four scholarships:

  •     The Bracy Scholarship provides $1,500 to active members or veterans of the U.S. armed forces who are seeking an education in the medical or HVAC fields.
  •     The GED Scholarship provides between $1,500 and $4,500 for students pursuing an education in the medical or HVAC fields who have completed their GED within the last six months.
  •     The Venable Scholarship awards between $1,500 and $4,500 to those who have graduated high school within the last nine months and are seeking an education in the medical or HVAC fields.
  •     The Walker Scholarship awards $250 to current students who have excelled academically and maintained at least a 3.3 GPA and 90 percent attendance rate.
