The interview features Drew Bourke asking Louis Newman questions about growing up in London as the son of famous rock drummer Tony Newman, moving to Nashville at an early age, and then moving back to London at age fifteen to pursue a career as a session drummer.
Louis Newman moved to Nashville at age two. His father was one of classic rock's most famous of drummers. Tony Newman played drums live and in the studio for David Bowie, Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck. Growing up in a musical family is what inspired Louis to play drums nearly all day and night, and also the reason why he moved back to London at age fifteen, and was able to create a career, almost instantaneously as a session drummer in the London music scene.
The interview covers Louis's career as a drummer, owning a moving company in Nashville, and returning back to music as a drummer, producer and manager. Louis now manages the careers of both Gwen Sebastian from TV's The Voice, and also Ty Herndon who gained fame from the popular TV show Star Search.
