Powerhouse Fashion Designers Charis B. and Kelly Nishimoto combine forces to announce Gasoline Girl

Gasoline Girl, Panic Switch Army’s new women’s clothing line, will make its official debut at MAGIC Fashion Tradeshow, February 19-21 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Featuring contemporary designs, minimal branding, and clean lines, Gasoline Girl is for the edgy girl who loves a fast-paced lifestyle and prefers to look hot wherever she goes. Panic Switch Army co-founder, Charis B. has partnered with fashion designer and TV personality, Kelly Nishimoto to bring the designs to life.

“The action sports market is dominated by men’s street wear, and we are filling an important gap by offering this new line of sexy dresses, track suits, t-shirts and cut-off tanks that a woman can wear anywhere her life takes her.”

The full product line will be crafted from ready-to-wear, travel friendly, body hugging material and will feature a signature ruche back on many of the designs.

“This line is for the woman who loves clothing that is comfortable, sexy and fits well, but wants something a little less ‘rainbows and unicorns,’ and more rock and roll,” Charis said.

“Our life goes so quickly that you have to be able to go from day to night, and Gasoline Girl will help our customers do that,” Charis said. “It’s wear on-the-go and perfect for traveling—wrinkle free and easy to pack. It’s really about the fast-paced lifestyle and making clothing that women can wear to work and then out to meet friends for a cocktail.”

“I love the idea of having two women in business who are going to rock it out,” Nishimoto added. “I’m excited about the venture for Panic Switch because it’s my girly silhouette with their bad-ass edge, and we are combining the two and making these clothes to everyday shoppers who are fashionistas. We fused these concepts beautifully in the middle for Gasoline Girl.”

Be sure to catch the premiere of Nishimoto’s new show on TLC, Something Borrowed, Something New, airing February 8, 2013 at 10/9C.
