Spa-goers and romantics will find a special indulgence for Valentine’s Day at Spa Shiki at The Lodge of Four Seasons, located on Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks. The spa’s Amai Chocolate Body Wrap is available for a limited time. Spa Shiki, one of the Midwest’s top resort spas, features a full menu of body treatments, massages, hydrotherapy, facials, salon services and more, plus a suite of amenities that includes a co-ed, salt-purified whirlpool, infrared saunas, steam rooms, indoor-outdoor swimming pool and more. Guests may add the Amai Chocolate Body Wrap to the resort’s Suite Deal package for a complete, romantic travel escape to the lakeside, Japanese-themed resort spa.

Spa Shiki’s Amai (pronounced a mah ee) Chocolate Body Wrap begins with a full-body exfoliation using a patented Supracor body mitt to relax the muscles and nervous system and spur the release of deep toxins. Next, a Chocolate Body Dip envelopes the body in warmth to moisturize and soften dry skin with shea butter, cocoa butter, honey, glycerin and cocoa bean extracts, plus calms and soothes through melissa, lavender and chamomile. A White Chocolate Body Soufflé finishes the treatment to renew and rejuvenate the skin with the help of Pearl and Fossilized Coral Powders. Amino acids and more than a dozen minerals work synergistically to help increase cell turnover and fight the aging process to promote a smooth, fine, elastic and naturally beautiful appearance. This treatment leaves skin feeling soft, deliciously warm and beautiful. “Amai” means sweet in Japanese.

In addition the Amai Chocolate Body Wrap, travelers may book the The Lodge of Four Seasons’ Suite Deal vacation package for a romantic, overnight getaway includes luxurious, condo-style, king-size accommodations at The Residences at The Lodge (an Avila suite), featuring a private balcony or terrace, jetted tub, full-size kitchen and dining area, plus sitting area with fireplace. The package also includes two $25 Spa Shiki vouchers to apply toward two 50-minute spa services (or longer), an evening dinner credit of $50 in HK’s Restaurant on day of arrival, champagne and chocolates at turn down and a full American breakfast in Breezes Restaurant on the day of departure. Lake of the Ozarks guests who choose the Suite Deal package also enjoy a 2 p.m. late check-out.

For those interested in booking a romantic Valentine’s getaway at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Lodge of Four Seasons’ Suite Deal starts at $399 per couple per night (room occupancy taxes and resort fee not included). Spa Shiki’s Amai Chocolate Body Wrap is 80 minutes and regularly $195, but guests save $50 when booking the treatment before February 28, 2013.

Named the top resort spa in the Midwest for 2012 by Spa Magazine, Spa Shiki was also honored by SpaFinder Wellness with 2012 Reader’s Choice Awards in three categories: Best for Families, Best for Girlfriend Getaways and Bachelorette Parties and Best for Golf.
