Decipher, a comprehensive market research services firm, has hired 22 new people after a year of record growth. The company, which experienced a 37 percent year-over-year revenue growth in 2012, has followed up this expansion by adding personnel in the software engineering, account management and marketing departments.

Decipher is the only market research services firm in the United States that has a completely onshore workforce. The innovative program that allows Decipher to accomplish this (in an industry where a significant amount of technical and skilled labor is offshored) recently earned the company a 2012 Best in Biz Award for “Most Socially Responsible Company of the Year.” Approximately half of the new hires will be part of this program which focuses on the technical side of the business, while the remaining hires will serve primarily in the account management department.
The company’s 37 percent growth from 2011 to 2012 is attributed in part to increased adoption of the Beacon market research survey software platform, which is known for its powerful reporting and robust programming capabilities. The platform, which features flexible online and mobile survey authoring, also offers advanced features like mobile field reporting, integrated digital fingerprinting, quality control review tools, email campaign management, interactive reporting dashboards, numerous data export formats and more.
In addition, a new branch office was recently opened in the central region of Oregon, complementing the company’s existing locations in Portland, Los Angeles, London and its Fresno, California headquarters.
