CHARLESTON, SC – February 11, 2013 – DIG SOUTH Festival, the first and only event celebrating the Southeast’s fast-growing digital economy, today released the full music lineup for the festival Sideshow on April 12-14, 2013. The schedule includes Lee Fields & The Expressions along with Yarn, Rosco Bandana, Dangermuffin, Those Darlins, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Sam Doores and the Tumbleweeds, Barefoot Movement, Rachel Kate, The Bushels, Brave Baby, HEYROCCO, Elim Bolt and many more.
“We’re featuring breakthrough local acts alongside acclaimed performers from around the country,” said DIG SOUTH founder and executive producer Stan Gray, “and we’re excited about the energy and excitement they’ll bring to the event. Ultimately, DIG SOUTH is about connecting with people and challenging the status quo and our music lineup reflects that in a fun way.”
The artists, whose musical styles range from soul to americana, bluegrass, indie rock, funk, jam and more, will appear in the evenings at the Charleston Music Hall, Redux Contemporary Art Center and The Alley on April 12-13, and the College of Charleston TD Arena during the DIG SOUTH Expo, April 13-14.
