Steatite Embedded is expanding its support for industrial computers and embedded systems with the addition of a range of high performance industrial computing platforms and motherboards from global designer and manufacturing partner Axiomtek.
Already providing a wide selection of industrial and rugged mobile computing platforms, Steatite Embedded revealed its broadening range with the introduction of Axiomtek’s latest application-ready core processor and motherboard solutions. Three of the new products offered by Steatite Embedded are the fanless IPC914-213-FL and eBOX639-825-FL together with the MANO872 mini-ITX motherboard.
The IPC914-213-FL is a durable industrial computer that comes complete with four slots, which are a combination of PCI and PCIe, allowing for easy expansion capabilities and providing users with the flexibility required in industrial environments. Industrial-grade features such as an IP30-rated aluminium and cold-rolled steel enclosure make this CE-certified fanless barebone system suitable for tough conditions. Combined with front-access design, enabling fast maintenance, a remote switch connector and impressive memory and storage capacity, the IPC914-213-FL is aimed at industrial automation applications including digital signage and kiosk operations.
Axiomtek’s eBOX639-825-FL is another fanless, ultra low-powered dual core processor industrial system that comes with two PCI slots and an internal PCI Express Mini Card slot.
Axiomtek’s new third generation Mini-ITX MANO872 motherboard will also be available from Steatite Embedded. Incorporating a selection of high performance Intel® features, the MANO872 delivers maximum security and manageability, so is ideal for high-end industrial applications such as surveillance and monitoring. Board functionality can also be increased to support up to three independent displays, making it perfect for multimedia and signage applications too.
Stuart Mains, business development manager at Steatite Embedded, comments: “We are building on last year’s success with new products from our partners, such as these from Axiomtek.”
