InventHelp, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Florida, has designed a device that could enable a user to paddle a small boat more easily. This invention is patented.

“E-Z Paddle” would include a pylon, which would be positioned in the center of the boat or attached to a daggerboard slot, and it would support the weight of the oar instead of the user. This design could enable a user to paddle for a longer period of time without becoming fatigued. The lightweight, easy-to-use design of E-Z Paddle could make boating more relaxing and enjoyable.

E-Z Paddle would consist of pylon, which would be set into the daggerboard slot. The device is designed for use with a dual-paddle oar. A C-shaped, metal or lock would be positioned near the top of the pylon. A user would slide the center of the oar into the lock and paddles normally. E-Z Paddle could provide more stability for the boat while lessening the physical demand and coordination of traditional paddling. In addition, E-Z Paddle could be produced in versions for use on different boats, including kayaks and canoes, sailboards and paddleboards, and car topper sailboats.

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 08-ORD-1051 at (800) 851-6030.
