Mary Byers, CAE, is the author of seven books including Road to Relevance: 5 Strategies for Competitive Associations. Mary’s keynote speech, also titled “Road to Relevance” will take place on March 4 at 8:30 a.m. The keynote will focus on the increasingly competitive environment facing associations and will provide practical advice and thoughtful guidance on how organizations can become more proactive and future-focused.

Jamie Notter is the author of Humanize: How People Centric Organizations Succeed in a Social World with co-author Maddie Grant, co-founder of Social Fish. On March 5 at 8:30 a.m., Notter will deliver the second keynote titled, “What Social Business Means for Leadership”. His speech will discuss how smart companies are integrating social technologies into their management processes and corporate culture so that employees can practice better collaboration, faster learning, increased transparency and more ownership behavior. The speech also uncovers what leadership traits need to be employed to help foster those benefits within the workspace.
“Social media technologies are helping organizations better understand their members and form stronger relationships with them.” said Notter. “At AUDC 2013, attendees will learn how to maximize these technologies and provide smarter leadership to their organizations.”
Following the keynote, Byers and Notter will each present an hour-long educational session open to all AUDC attendees. Byers will present “Breaking Through the Ceiling of Complexity: What to Do When You Don’t Know What Else to Do” on Monday, March 4 at 9:45 a.m. and Notter will present with Humanize co-author Grant, “Lead Your Way to a Social Organization” on Tuesday, March 5 at 9:45 a.m.
AUDC is aimed at helping attendees stay ahead of trends in member and donor management with training and education on the latest developments from Avectra. Attendees will learn best practices from industry experts and each other.
