Over 3 million direct mail pieces have been sent through the innovative, cost-effective Every Door Direct Mail® (EDDM2Go.com) service in its first year. Offering bundled pricing and turnkey service, EDDM2Go.com helps small business reach new customers.

"In our current economy, many small businesses are eager to reach new customers, and EDDM2Go.com is an innovative, cost-effective solution."

Progressive Impressions International (Pii), a leading direct marketing firm, today celebrated posting its 3 millionth piece of direct mail through its Web-based Every Door Direct Mail® (EDDM®) service. EDDM2Go.com offers bundled pricing and turnkey services that support the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) program delivering mail to recipients on carrier routes.

“To send 3 million pieces of direct mail in less than one year ― and during our inaugural year ― is a significant achievement for a new tool and speaks to the ease and convenience our customers find in using EDDM2Go.com,” says Ron Drenning, Managing Director of EDDM2Go. “In the current economy, many small businesses are eager to reach new customers, and EDDM2Go.com is an innovative, cost-effective solution.”

EDDM2Go.com will be featured during “Direct Mail, Direct Results: Growing Your Small Business with the USPS,” part of the National Postal Forum, at the Moscone Center West, San Francisco, Calif., March 17-20. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, from 3 to 6 p.m.

No cost increase for using the service
Drenning also emphasized that there are no plans in the near future to increase current pricing for using EDDM2Go.com, despite recent cost increases implemented by the U.S. Postal Service for this class of postage. Achieving sales goals remains a challenge for many small businesses. EDDM2Go.com strives to keep services as affordable as possible, reflecting a commitment to helping its partners increase new and repeat sales from their customers.

The USPS postage increase, which took effect on January 27, 2013, raised the cost of EDDM®-Retail from $0.145 to $.16 per piece. EDDM2Go’s posted unit prices include the cost of printing, postage and delivery of the pieces to the local USPS facility that will distribute to carrier routes.

“To some people, the increase may not seem like much,” Drenning says. “But small business owners understand that every penny adds up, and it is in our mutual best interest not to increase our prices of EDDM® products at this time.”

In another business-friendly move, EDDM2Go adjusted its minimum quantity from 1,000 down to 500. This will allow potential customers to “test” the service before committing to a larger campaign. Now, a customer can spend as little as $275 to mail 500 quantity of a 6.25” x 9” four-color postcard printed on coated cover stock.
