Portraying the people and the places, the animals and the atmosphere of the Peak District National Park is what it's all about say the owners.
'We have always wanted to portray the candid side of the Peak District' says James Dobson, half of the partnership of http://www.gloriouspeakdistrict.com. His new venture is working alongside his long term best friend and business partner Steve Wake, who is a very talented landscape photographer.
'It's an idea we've been secretly building on over the last few months and we're now ready to launch it to the public. We wanted to celebrate the essence and the escapism of the Peak District, in all its magnificent full glory - hence the name,' says James. 'We depict the true inner beauty of what we think is the most glorious part of our country - and it is a very Glorious Peak District indeed.'
The BBC has knocked on the door several times for images to adorn their Facebook Nature page. James's stunning photographs have also been used several times on the very popular Springwatch programmes, having won the competition beating 49,999 others to the title of photograph of the Year.
'We have put together in one place images James and I have taken over the last seven years while we've been building Peak District Online, the UK's largest directory for holiday accommodation for this area anywhere online,' says Steve. 'It's an idea we've been secretly building on over the last few months and we're now ready to launch it to the public.
Depicting the true inner beauty of what the two talented photographers think is the most glorious part of our country, the very Glorious Peak District is simply one string to the very talented pair's bows and who knows where their images may end up with the chance to download them legally and use them at will.
Not only are these chaps wizards at sourcing all the latest up to date information, news and holiday lets available for those wishing to stay in this glorious part of the country, but they are extremely talented with a camera too.
