Allsup, a nationwide provider of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance services for workers’ compensation and liability insurance carriers, employers and-third party administrators, today welcomes Aaron Frederickson as a director of Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance.
“Allsup MSP clients benefit from our core competency of managing federal regulatory, medical data and compliance processes—and Aaron’s arrival complements our expertise. It also enhances the benefits our customers realize through Allsup’s comprehensive suite of MSP compliance services,” said Eric Gudmestad, senior vice president of Commercial Business at Allsup.
Frederickson will team with Rob Sokol to serve as joint directors of Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance for Allsup, Gudmestad explained.
“Significant changes are in store for Medicare compliance in 2013, and bringing Aaron on board further strengthens Allsup’s position to continue expertly assisting our clients to identify and solve the challenges of MSP compliance,” said Rob Sokol. “Aaron’s experience and focus on client satisfaction make him a natural fit for Allsup’s growing MSP business.”
Frederickson joins Allsup from MSP Compliance Solutions, a St. Paul, Minn., consulting firm he founded in 2011 after nearly a decade working in the Medicare compliance, workers’ compensation and civil litigation sectors. His educational background includes a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.A. from St. Cloud State University. Frederickson is Medicare Set-aside Consultant Certified (MSCC) by the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC).
“I have been able to help countless clients from diverse backgrounds solve MSP compliance challenges over the years, and I’m looking forward to taking that commitment to quality to the next level as part of Allsup’s growing team of MSP compliance professionals,” said Frederickson. “Medicare’s complex requirements can create uncertainty and confusion, and Allsup continues to build an all-star team to help clients navigate the maze.”
Allsup offers Medicare Set-aside Arrangements (MSA), Conditional Payment Resolution and Section 111 Mandatory Insurer Reporting services to the workers’ compensation and liability industries to assist in compliance with Medicare Secondary Payer guidelines. “Expanding our MSP team reinforces our dedication to customer service that sets Allsup apart and helps our clients to save time and money while remaining compliant,” Gudmestad added.
