Edward S. Karl, CPA, vice president of taxation for the American Institute of CPAs, and one of the foremost federal tax analysts in Washington, will be available following the delivery of the State of the Union Address on Feb. 12 to discuss President Obama’s tax proposals.

As AICPA’s senior tax professional, Karl will be able to describe President Obama’s proposals in a nonpartisan manner and be able to explain their effect on the average taxpayer. He has more than 30 years of experience in analyzing proposed changes to the tax code.
